we’re all pressed for time. there just doesn’t seem to be enough of it for hardly any of us. work requirements, social requirements, pro bono requirements, decompression requirements (for after you do all that other stuff). how can anyone get it all done in a day? it’s this shortage of time that makes your attention so valuable. therefore, actively choosing one thing over another is to give that thing priority and, by extension, value.

what are you placing value on in your day-to-day life? which of those things truly deserves it? surely there’s something greater to focus on; an area to be more present in what we’re doing. our attention undivided.
