the content provider has not made this available on mobile.

what a terrible idea.

the number of internet users accessing the web from mobile devices is steadily increasing. sales of tablets are outpacing the sales of laptops and desktops in the consumer market. more and more our method of connecting to the web looks a lot less like an office with a desk and a chair on wheels and a lot more like the line at starbucks or the back of a taxi cab.

limiting your consumers’ ability to access your content is prohibitive of growth. you may think you’re forcing them to access the content through your desktop site to capitalize on ad clicks or easier to define metrics, but what you’re really doing—most of the time—is just driving them away.

time to rethink your mobile strategy. and if you don’t already have a mobile strategy, it’s time to create one.

better late than never.
